Vactank

The Vactank is a device to recover pollutant products in costal waters. It consists in a central pump linked to two tanks.

Vactank is a recovery equipment of polluting products in the coastal fringe; it is able to work on viscous pollution, in places which are difficult to go. It is composed of a suction pipe and a central vacuum pump connected to two tanks.
The pollutants are collected by suction in one of the tanks. The tank is put in vacuum by the pump. In same time, pumping, decantation and a transfer can be done. Various ends are adaptable on the suction pipe according to the product.

The vacuum pump and the tanks are assembled on stainless 316L frames.
The tanks are built in epoxy resin and have a volume of 2 m3.
The average flow of suction is of 6m3/h but depends on the product viscosity.
