The interventionary  oleophilic drum can be used each time that an hydrocarbon layer  is accidentally spilled on a water restricted expanse  such as :  storm basins , lakes, mud pits of drilling. 

The evacuation of recovered hydrocarbons,  in the gutter, is ensured by a pneumatic pump or electric, assembled on the floats.

According to  basin characteristics  and oil quantity to recover, the cylinder can have  1000 mm or 1500 mm  length and   400 mm diameter .
