Operation

The dispersant spraying gun has been developped to fight against accidental oil spills on the surface water by propelling dispersant.

A high pressure pump of 150l/min maximum capacity at 20 bars, propells dispersant through a set of spraying nozzles. Fine droplets are carried up to 30 m.

Characteristics

The gun consists of a three independent lines of diffusers, a displacement pump with diaphragm pistons, a set of hydraulic control, a distribution of the flow with adjustment. 

The system is mobile and easy to erect on a non specialised vessel.
